Denver Broncos: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (2)

The Broncos drafted Bo Nix, but if they are so bad in 2024 that they land the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, they’ll almost certainly repeat what the Cardinals did when Arizona gave up on Josh Rosen after one year by drafting Kyler Murray.

Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a top-five pick.

New York Giants: Carson Beck, QB, Georgia2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (5)

Rumors circulated about the Giants trading up for a quarterback, but they didn’t even bother to address the position. They certainly will do so next April if they have the second-overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Carson Beck has a huge arm, plus size, and quality accuracy.

Arizona Cardinals: Walter Nolen, DT, Texas A&M2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (7)

Arizona was always expected to pass on a quarterback in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, but if Kyler Murray continues to suffer injuries, the Cardinals may not have a choice, especially if they have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Then again, Arizona could continue to make excuses for Murray, especially if it misses out on the top two prospects. If so, perhaps the Cardinals will finally obtain a replacement for J.J. Watt.

Walter Nolen was a highly recruited player who has shown a ton of upside.

New England Patriots: James Pearce Jr., DE/OLB, Tennessee2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (9)

Matthew Judon is still capable of placing heavy pressure on opposing quarterbacks, but he’ll turn 32 soon. New England will have to find a young pass rusher to complement Judon now and eventually replace him.

James Pearce put a ton of pressure on the quarterback in ’23. He has a ton of potential, but he needs to fill out his frame.

Pick change; previously Will Campbell, OT

Carolina Panthers: Harold Perkins, OLB/DE, LSU2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (11)

Brian Burns is gone, so the Panthers will need to find a dominant pass rusher to replace him.

Harold Perkins is a beast who broke on to the scene with 7.5 sacks as a freshman. He’s an explosive player with tremendous instincts.

Tennessee Titans: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (13)

The Titans are going to give Will Levis a chance next year. If he fails, Tennessee could target a franchise quarterback at this spot.

Drew Allar has a huge arm and a large frame, and he knows how to apply touch and throwing angles.

Minnesota Vikings: Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (15)

The Vikings have endured some serious secondary issues for a few years. This will be their opportunity to finally fix those.

Travis Hunter has incredible athleticism and plus size. He played receiver at Colorado as well.

Seattle Seahawks: Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (17)

The Seahawks have lacked a great pass rush for quite some time. They can rectify that with this pick.

Nic Scourton had a breakout ’23 season with 10 sacks. He has a huge frame and possesses massive upside as a potential defensive end or five-technique.

New Orleans Saints: Will Campbell, OT, LSU2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (19)

The Saints spent last year’s first-round pick on a tackle, but they need another one. Talies Fuaga will play at right tackle, so New Orleans has to find a blind-side protector.

Will Campbell has average length, but is a nasty blocker.

Pick change; previously Mykel Williams, DE

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (21)

The Buccaneers had a poor pass defense last year, so they’ll need to find better players in their secondary.

Will Johnson, who had a tremendous showing during the championship run, has a plus skill set and upside.

Washington Commanders: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (23)

The Redskins lost a pair of talented edge rushers during the previous trade deadline, so they’ll need to find replacements.

Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia as a freshman.

Pick change; previously James Pearce, DE

Los Angeles Chargers: Patrick Payton, DE, Florida State2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (25)

Khalil Mack is just a short-term solution across from Joey Bosa, who tends to get hurt a lot. It would be a surprise if both were back in 2025.

Patrick Payton is raw and needs to add bulk, but he has immense upside.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (27)

The Steelers obtained Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, but there’s a chance they could both bust. If so, the Steelers will be back to square zero, as a Hall of Fame running back once said.

Quinn Ewers has a big arm, but must improve his accuracy.

Las Vegas Raiders: Earnest Greene III, OT, Georgia2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (29)

The Raiders considered drafting a tackle in the first round. They’ll need to improve their protection.

Earnest Greene is a massive right tackle and a powerful run blocker.

Indianapolis Colts: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (31)

The Colts probably would have drafted a cornerback at No. 15 had Laiatu Latu not fallen to them. They still need help at the position.

Benjamin Morrison has a ton of upside as a 6-foot cornerback. He did a good job of limiting Marvin Harrison Jr.

Dallas Cowboys: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan2025 NFL Mock Draft – WalterFootball (33)

The Cowboys have a great edge rush, but they could add talent to the middle of the defensive line.

Mason Graham is a relentless player with a non-stop motor.
