This hat was brought back from America for me. Sadly, the wrong size. It is a size 59 or in American size seven and three eights. This is a really special hat made famous by Apocalypse now and many other films. It now forms a ceremonial role in the US Cavalry and is permitted as a uniform item. I ordered the hat without sabres deliberately as there are many cavalry units and numbers and I couldn’t decide on the sabres or the wire braid version. I will leave that to the buyer. I would prefer collect but can post. Good Luck I am purchasing another of the correct size.
